Inside Tom Poelmans’ Berchem studio

For the second instalment in Joke De Wilde’s series of studio visits, she headed to painter Tom Poelmans’ tiny, light-flooded studio, tucked away in a house on the corner of Antwerp’s Berchem train station. Known to never – with just one sole exception – work with a series format, his body of work shows an exceptional and intricate diversity, and furthermore covers nearly every inch of the space.
