On the streets of Belgium, Part 1: Miles Fischler

The Word Magazine and Fujifilm are happy to invite you to a free photography workshop, centred on the art of street photography, in the presence of Fujifilm Ambassador Ioannis Tsouloulis. Known for his simplistic yet powerful portraits, Ioannis will introduce you to street-style portrait photography using the Fujifilm X Series cameras, covering all aspects from lighting and subject selection. And of course, workshop participants will get the chance to shoot with one of the Fujifilm X Series cameras too, amidst other goodies.

For the occassion, we equipped our own in-house photographers with a Fujifilm X Series camera and sent them out to capture our streets. First up to bat is Antwerp’s Miles Fischler, who sought to highlight the soft underbelly of Belgium, focussing on the charming municipality of Braine-l’Alleud / Eigenbrakel. A quaint provincial town rather reminiscent of Seattle, if you will. “The sun was finally shining so I made the most of it,” she recalls.

Make sure to register to the limited Fujifilm x Ambassador workshop quick.

The Fujifilm x Ambassador photography workshop will be taking place on Sunday 6th of May, between 14h-17h, at Brussels’ Zoom Hotel.
First come, first served to the first 10 participants – so make sure to register quick.
