We first got acquainted with Memymom’s work a while ago and were instantly intrigued by their puzzling compositions. Lisa De Boeck and Marilène Coolens’ strange scenarios feature flesh, intertwined limbs and bodyparts that seem to spring out of nowhere, the result being at times dreamy, at others bone-chilling. For the red album (out 11th March), they imagined a journey into Lynch’s infamous Red Room. In the meantime, here’s a brief teaser of the mother/daughter combo’s vast array of work.
