Wiels curator and founder of art website Le Salon, Devrim Bayar (who we recently interviewed here), snapped away with one of our throwaway cameras in the build-up to her latest exhibition, a retrospective of German artist Thomas Bayrle. The show stretches from the artist’s early beginnings to the engine installations featured at last year’s Documenta 13. His works often reference conceptual, pop and op art and explore themes such as consumerism, religion, political propaganda and sexuality. Have a sneak peek behind the scenes below and don’t forget to catch the show before it finishes up on 12 May.
