1.Thursday 28th July: The Word presents Favourite Belgian releases with Bart Sibiel @ The Hope, Brussels

This Thursday marks the second instalment of our Favourite Belgian releases listening sessions at Brussels concept space The Hope. We’re welcoming Onda Sonora’s Bart Sibiel to take listeners through a selection of prime local cuts, followed by a DJ set, and accompanied by the exquisite food of The Hope’s chef.

An all-nighter at the infamous Bonnefooi bar in downtown Brussels organised by multidisciplinary collective Perron Zes and Antwerp rap crew Netwerk, filled with nothing but hiphop and good vibes by Doofpot, Lowgrade, Yung Narci, Nemesis and more.

3. Friday 29th July: Boatclub & BRUZZ invite We Bring You @ Boatclub, Brussels

An afternoon beach get-together followed by a nighttime shindig right next to Brussels’ canal. Beats, boogie and general festiveness are provided by Dutch DJ’s Mr. Mendel, Jef Hecker and Joel Hemmen, We Bring You residents Borealis, Baptist and Margot, Nose Job’s Rick Shiver, and Boutique Electronic Crew.

4. Friday 29th July: Kontrast @ Klub Goud, Antwerp

Cult dance floor instigator Nicolas Lutz digs deep in his record collection and provides party goers with an eclectic DJ set at Antwerp’s Klub Goud.

5. Saturday 30th July: Cape Horn Fever @ Hypercorps, Brussels

Downtown Brussels contemporary art space Hypercorps presents an in-situ created collaborative installation by Ailsa Cavers and Bert Jacobs. Runs until 27th August.

Non-profit cultural space Allée du Kaai is hosting an afternoon in their typical inclusive, creative flair, with a neighbourhood flea market, concerts, exhibitions and a table d’hôte.

7. Saturday 30th July: Onbekwaam en Onbevoegd @ Antwerp

This Saturday you can explore Antwerp’s harbour by bicycle during an artistic guerrilla game. Armed with megaphones, experimental noise music will blast through the area. To top it off, the whole happening will be broadcasted live on Radio Centraal, from 8 until midnight.

8. Saturday 30th July: ClitClap Street party @ Petrol, Antwerp

Antwerp collective ClitClap takes in Club Petrol’s parking lot and invites a myriad of artists, amongst which  Prometvzine, ILLSYLL, No Sleep Richy for a night filled with grime, trap and hip-hop.

9. Saturday 30th July – Sunday 31st July: SuperVue festival @ Liège

Liège creative collective La Superette combines some of the best Belgian underground musicians the likes of Capelo, Jardin and ssaliva, with an artistic route and something called paleontological mini-golf, for a two-day festival. Amazing views of the city are included.
