Part of the Recyclart Holidays programme is a free concert by Cambodian Space Project, a group consisting of four musicians covering psychedelic pop from the South-East Asian country with an ironic and unexpected flair.

2. Thursday 4th August: Divers Cités by Kool Kids Klub @ Espace Blanche, Brussels

A collective exhibition organised by fanzine Kool Kids Klub shows the works of Belgian artists that work with a versatile mix of materials and techniques that go from photography to sculpture and from illustrations to painting. Runs until 4th of September.

3. Friday 5th August: Nachthexen x Snob @ Cafee Cabron, Antwerp

A free concert by British cliques Nachthexen and Snob in Antwerp dive bar Cafee Cabron. A night that brings together riot grrrl, punk, eclectic guitars and analog synths.

4. Friday 5th – Sunday 7th August: Theater Aan Zee @ Ostend

This year Theater Aan Zee festival celebrates its 20th birthday, and goes out with a bang for its closing weekend, taking over the entire town of Ostend with dozens of theatre acts, kids workshops and live concerts.

6. Saturday 6th August: DOK Beach party @ DOK, Ghent

Democrazy invites Studio Brussel radio hosts Kong and Lefto for an evening at Ghent’s riverside DOK venue. Playing tunes that go from afrobeat to hip-hop they’ll have you believe that Ghent is the new Ibiza.

7. Saturday 6th August: The emotional junkie and cyborg love @ MUHKA, Antwerp

In theme of MUHKA’s Energy Flash exhibition that’s all about early 90’s rave culture, Xavier Mary curates an evening of performances, exhibitions, and some of the finest underground musical talent the country has to offer, with Hiele, ssaliva, Air Lqd and a DJ set by Acid Kirk.

8. Saturday 6th August: Habitat Festival @ Leuven 

A one-day only free festival that’s all about music, arts and entrepreneurship in Leuven, with concerts by Slagwerk, MonkeyRobot and Dynamo, exhibitions by multidisciplinary collective Pax Lovanium, Senor Color’s paintings. Lectures by ONKRUID (the collective behind Horst Festival) amongst others run alongside, as well as live open jams by KLANK.
