1.Thurday 18th August: Gary + Sanna @ Bonnefooi, Brussels

Canadian DJ’s Gary and Sanna, part of Intelligent Instruments and its sister label Invisible City Editions, specialise in represses of killer releases – think long lost Indian disco and South African kwaito. They’ll be manning the decks at Bonnefooi this evening for a few hours of rare grooves goodness.

2. Friday 19th August: Yestoall @ Klub Goud, Antwerp

Deep house in Antwerp’s sky-high venue Klub Goud with German DJs Johannes Klingebiel, Julian Stetter and Max Schmidt. A night brought to you by one of Antwerp’s freshest nightlife promoter Casa Ambera.

3. Saturday 20th August: Norite label night @ Épicerie Moderne, Brussels

A label night hosted by Brussels imprint Norite to celebrate the release of “∑03” by Terminal Sync. To mark the occasion, the Italian producer will be handling dancefloor duties together with Lunar Convoy. Expect deep and dark techno.

4. Saturday 20th August: 2 jaar KERK @ KERK, Ghent

Located in the old factory buildings on Ghent’s Sidaplex site, neighbourhood hotspot and all-round food, music and social circle KERK celebrates its second birthday this Saturday with day-long celebrations that include an exhibition by creative agency DIFT, furniture and cycling workshops as well as DJ sets by Orgel Soundsystem and Jensen.

5. Saturday 20th August: Opening Biennale de l’Image Possible @ Liège

The tenth edition of Liège’s Biennale de l’Image Possible opens this Saturday, taking in the entire city for two whole months with exhibitions, a photobook fair and the odd party or two. For its inauguration, entry to all exhibitions is free with Funky Bompa, Mokele and DJ Bon Gout brining a little flavour to the opening night.

6. Sunday 21st August: Roller Boogie @ Bar Eliza, Brussels

An afternoon filled with roller disco vibes at pop-up summer bar Eliza, bang in the middle of Koekelberg’s Elisabeth park in, with sounds by Onda Sonora, Kuryakin and Jus Raw.

7. Sunday 21st August: Endrhymes riddles @ DRUUM, Brussels

Distopian minimalist three-piece Razen present their new LP Endrhymes, released on Kraak earlier this year, at B&B DRUUM in downtown Brussels, accompanied by electronic avant-garde legend Asmus Tietchens.

8. Sunday 21st August: Diggers @ Kattendijkdok, Antwerp

Part of the Born In Antwerp summer programme, Diggers is, as its name suggest, a vinyl market whose first edition is held this weekend at Kattendijkdok. Crates by record stores, local collectors and labels.

10. Sunday 21st August: Rooftop session @ Gaston, Ghent

We Play House Recordings and Private Sessions collaborated for this intimate rooftop session, with a live set by Jacob Korn, DJ sets by Red D and Private Family, and culinary goodness by local restaurant Coeur d’Artichaut.

11. Sunday 21st August: Peeks of Present Sheets of Past @ Diesel Project Space, Liège

The first part of a solo exhibition by New-York based visual artist Alexis Lagimodière-Grisé, curated by Antwerp residency project AIR at Xavier Mary‘s Diesel Project Space, with live performances by Carrageenan, a c c o u, Cepren Synth, Fyoelk and DJ sets by ssaliva, Hydra & Nyx, Jante Alliage, Nacerï and Naej & Erreip.
Second part of the exhibition will take place at AIR Antwerp and opens on 25th August.
