It’s another stomper of a weekend, with Antwerp marching to the art beat, Brussels immersed in Jazz and the rest of the country flocking to both.

1. Thursday 19th May: Locals @ Brass, Brussels

Forest-based artists Anne Daems, Filip Gilissen, Jana Phlips, Roberta Miss and Filip Van Dingenen take part in this group show at Brass, the commune’s cultural centre, with Lawrence Le Doux manning the decks.

4. Thursday 19th May: Club Coco 02 @ Bar GLOED, Antwerp

Working through photography, film and installations, the work of Aglaia Konrad documents the ever-evolving nature of our cities, capturing them through the glow of some of their most iconic sites and spaces. 7. Friday 20th May – Sunday 22nd May: Brussels Jazz Marathon, Brussels

Jazz literally takes the city over this weekend with over 700 concerts, everything from the easy-listening to the more experimental.

8. Friday 20th May: The Hope opening, Brussels

Opening this Friday, The Hope is officially Brussels’ newest spot. A concept store that’ll combine food, art, design and music, the weekend’s opening festivities will include a bit of dancing, a bit of art and what we’ve been told are the best eggs benedict in town. We’ll also be hosting monthly listening sessions in the venue’s basement, so keep an eye out for the line-up, to be announced shortly
