Graphic design and illustration publication Ding Dong Paper presents twelve works by twelve artists – Experimental Jetset, Jan & Randoald, Brest Brest Brest, Anne Brugni, Nina Cosco, José Parrondo, Pia-Mélissa Laroche, François Avril, Bettina Henni, Aurélien Débat and Raphael Garnier – in their paper (limited to 150 copies) and at CIVA Bookshop. Wednesday 25th January: Infinite Bisous and Èlg at Vooruit, Ghent

A first in a future series of collaborations between grassroots art space Gouvernement and cultural temple Vooruit brings Brussels-based producer Èlg and Infinite Bisous, the solo project of Rory McCarthy (whose name might sound familiar as Mac DeMarco and Conon Mockasin’s right hand). A compelling sonic experience, without a doubt.

Thursday 26th January: Sam Scarpulla at Kapow, Ghent

At KapoW art space, Ghent-based artist Sam Scarpulla presents a limited edition series of his graphic novel ‘Lightning Guitar’, a story about the career and the road to success of a guitarist with all associated challenges, ambitions, failures, self destruction and love. Printed and inked by hand, the artist eschews traditional forms and opts for individually printed linocuts. On exhibition this weekend and the next. If you’re around, don’t miss it.
