In the run-up to the release of its Andy Warhol Limited Edition bottle, and true to its role as somewhat of a patron to the arts, Swedish vodka imprint Absolut is embarking on yet another one of its ambitious initiative. Billed as the world’s largest ever online art exchange platform, the “Andy Warhol Art Exchange by Absolut” project gives the opportunity for the world’s art-inclined spirits to donate a piece of work to the exchange. Read on and watch the video below to find out how you can participate.
The premise is rather simple. Artists from the world over donate a work of art, upload it to the exchange and enter a global sharing community which will see art swap quicker than you can say Pop. Belgium’s creative classes get a chance to take part too, with a selected few even getting featured in our end of year edition (out on 21 November) in a special double page feature on the project.
