Hosted in Bozar’s Terarken rooms, the 5th edition of Art on Paper presents twenty solo exhibitions with a focus on drawing in its many forms.
Art history teaches us the great masters – from Renaissance to Impressionist – relegated drawing to a secondary status, as a preliminary medium for their creations. Art on Paper reinforces the coming-of-age of drawing as a preferred medium, gradually gaining the favour of artists along a historical shift in the way we think about art.

Paula Castro, “Kentucky Pizza”, 100x70cm ink on paper diptych, 2012 (Gallery Dohyang Lee)
The group show exhibits Belgian and international artists such as Michel Boulanger, Wesley Meuris, Guðný Rósa Ingimarsdóttir, and Paula Castro, artists for whom drawing both complements and is central to their oeuvre. Lasting only three days, the expertly curated selection of artists and galleries isn’t to be missed.
