The exhibition to go to: Bob Verschueren’s Still life

Courtesy of Bob Verschueren

Exclusively inspired by nature, Bob Verschueren has spent the past three decades developing a singular visual language. Rising on the international art scene with his vegetal installations, destined to vanish with every exhibition’s closing, the Belgian artist has also developed his own brand of “miniatures”: photographs of small sculptures assembled with twigs and found leaves. Displaying his new and previous creations, as well as featuring his recent audio works of plant sounds, the Botanique‘s museum takes on the aura of an immersive forest, proof that one couldn’t dream of a better venue than the capital’s botanic gardens to offer an extended vision of this nature-lover’s work.

Until 6th November

The concerts to catch: Apparat Band and Why?

Apparat Band

Sascha Ring, the creative mind behind the hugely successful electronic one-man-venture Apparat, is transforming his computer project into a real band performing on stage with various instruments as drums, percussions, cello or piano – a development that makes a great live experience and is also quite apparent on his new album ‘The Devil’s Walk’, released this September. This weekend the Berlin electro legend will play in Brussels, together with his new bandmates – absolutely not to miss!
