The independent publishing elite met up for one of the key events of the year this weekend in the shape of Paris’ Offprint. Set to coincide with Paris Photo, the Art Publishing Fair gives publishing projects of all kinds – catalogues, art books, photobooks, newspapers, fanzines but also websites, blogs and social networks – the attention they deserve. With some of the world’s best independent publishers (including Belgium’s Shelter Press and Art Paper Editions) bringing their archives to the city’s Beaux-arts, the three-day gathering is porn to the publishing purists.
