12 bands, 2 days, 1 stage: last weekend’s Microfestival in Liège proved once more that good things come in small packages. A mini-festival with a big heart and a unique take on the monster summer music feeding frenzy, it sold out this year but still managed to keep the atmosphere cozy, welcoming music fans from all over. Besides an international line-up (Berlin trio Camera were one of the highlights, if you ask us) the refreshingly relaxed music bash offered play corners for the little ones, T-shirt painting, records for sale and an exhibition of The Word Magazine’s throwaway project.
